Heart Health: SPARSH Group of Hospitals Marks World Heart Day with Citywide Events to Promote Cardiovascular Health

Bengaluru, SPARSH Group of Hospitals, Bangalore, marked World Heart Day with a series of impactful events, drawing thousands of participants from across the city in a collective effort to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of preventive care.

The event at SPARSH Hospital, Infantry Road, which commenced early morning, was graced by Sri. Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, and Sri. Rizwan Arshad, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Shivajinagar Assembly.

Additionally, the ‘SPARSH Cricket League, Season 2,’ organized by SPARSH Hospital, Yeswanthpur, was graced by Sri. M. Krishnappa, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Vijayanagara Assembly, and Sri. Priya Krishna, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Govindarajanagar Assembly.

The yoga event ‘Heartful Harmony 2.0’ at SS SPARSH Hospital, RR Nagar, was graced by prominent industry leaders and senior hospital officials, while Sri S. R. Vishwanath, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for Yelahanka, along with Prof. Dr. Pavan Kumar M, President of IMA Yelahanka, and Dr. Shylakumar H. K., Secretary of IMA Yelahanka and Taluk Health Officer of Yelahanka Taluk, graciously attended as the chief guests for the Walkathon event of 5kms hosted by SPARSH Hospital, Yelahanka.

Several senior officials and medical experts from SPARSH Hospitals actively participated in the event, underscoring the hospital’s dedication to cardiovascular health. Mr. Joseph Pasangha, Group COO, Dr. Kishan Nag, Mrs. Jean Rachel Rao, Col. Rahul Tewari, Mr. Sudhindra Bhat, and Mr. Abhishek Thomas were among the prominent attendees, contributing to the success of these initiatives.

These events are part of SPARSH Hospital’s ongoing efforts to educate the public about heart disease and the vital role of regular exercise and lifestyle management in reducing cardiovascular risks. Participants enjoyed an engaging and energetic morning while promoting a heart-healthy lifestyle.
