Saint Von Colucci, a Canadian actor, just had his 12th face procedure to resemble BTS member Jimin. The actor died on Sunday at a hospital in South Korea at the age of 22 after suffering complications from his most recent treatment.
In order to pursue a career in the music industry, Saint Von Colucco reportedly relocated from Canada to South Korea in 2019. The actor had surgery to remove the jaw implants he had placed in November of last year on April 22 this year.
He required intubation following the operation due to an infection, but a short time later he passed away. Saint Von spent $220,000 on 12 procedures in 2022, including lip reduction, brow lifts, facelifts, and nose jobs.
In a Monday interview with the Daily Mail, his publicist remarked, “It is really awful and very unfortunate. He felt very uncomfortable about his appearance. He wanted a V-shaped face as many Asians do since he had a very square jawline and chin, which he disliked because he believed it was too broad.
He continued, “He was really self-conscious about his features. He found it very difficult to get employment in South Korea and felt severely discriminated against because of his Western appearance.
Saint Von was under a seven-year contract with a company that paid for his travel, housing, and living costs once he arrived in South Korea in 2019. Additionally, his spokesperson said, “He was very, very excited and worked really hard.”
Saint Von began submitting in June of last year for the Korean drama “Pretty Lies,” whose filming was wrapped up in December. One of the main roles, a foreign student, was portrayed by Saint.
The eight-episode miniseries is scheduled to premiere on a major US streaming network in October, according to his publicist. Saint Von was once 6 feet tall and weighed 182 pounds, with dark blonde hair and blue eyes.
