<p>In a video tribute to Rohit, a fan said, “Is selfless captain ko yaad rakhoge na (You will remember this selfless captain right)?” in the caption. In the video, the fan also added “Wo captain MI captain.” In the comment area, Ritika Sajdeh replied to this by using an emoticon of tears. Right now, the video is becoming quite popular on social media.</p>
<p>In the current Test series against England, Team India is being led by Rohit Sharma. After losing the first Test, the hosts are currently leading the series 2-1. They will now have a chance to win the fourth Test in Ranchi, which begins on February 23, to win the series. Hardik Pandya, on the other hand, is assiduously pursuing his recuperation in order to play in the IPL in 2024.</p>
<p>According to a source, Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), recently disclosed that Rohit Sharma would captain the Indian side in the T20 World Cup, which is slated for June.</p>
<p>Jay Shah was cited as Rajkot stating, “I want to promise you that in 2024 (T20 World Cup), under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, we will hoist the Indian flag in Barbados,” during his speech at the opening of Niranjan Shah Stadium. According to reports, he also affirmed that Hardik Pandya will serve as the T20I World Cup deputy captain.</p>
