Cryptic Post by Virat Kohli Following Fight With Gautam Gambhir

Following his verbal altercation with Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq and Lucknow Super Giants coach “Gautam Gambhir,” Virat Kohli posted a mysterious message on his Instagram stories. Royal Challengers Bangalore's 18-run triumph against Lucknow Super Giants on Monday at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow was followed by drama as Kohli got into a verbal altercation with Naveen during the 17th over and had to be removed from Gambhir when they came face to face.

Following their on-field antics, Kohli, Gautam, and Naveen have all received significant fines. The former RCB captain has now provided his thoughts on the entire incident by posting a cryptic message on social media.

Virat used his Instagram account to publish a narrative on “opinions” and “truth.”

Everything we read or hear is just an opinion, not the truth. Everything we see is a perspective; it is not the truth, according to Kohli's note.

The 34-year-old was earlier seen acting aggressively as usual on the field in celebration of Krunal Pandya's dismissal, though he did blow a kiss to Lucknow supporters in an apparent dig at Gambhir, who earlier this season made a figure-on-the-lips gesture to RCB supporters after LSG's victory.

He subsequently got into a verbal altercation with Naveen in the 17th over, which prompted the umpires to hurry to separate the two players. Amit Mishra was also seen having a heated exchange with Virat.

As they defeated Lucknow by 18 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore successfully defended the lowest total in IPL 2023. Virat scored 31 runs, Faf du Plessis scored 44, while the rest of the batters—aside from Dinesh Karthik—couldn't even reach double digits in the RCB's 126/9 total.

Only one game after LSG had scored 257 runs against Punjab Kings in their previous match, the bowlers saved the day for RCB by limiting Lucknow to a total of 108.
